The internal browser does not display fields correctly

Problem

The layout of the “Create Issue” form of Jira within the internal browser is misaligned or looks strange. Fields, like drop down menus or auto-complete fields, do not work properly.

Solution

In most cases, it is because you have updated to a new Jira version, but still have an old version of the Outlook add-in installed in your Outlook. Usually, it already helps to install the latest version of the Outlook Add-In.

If there are still issues after upgrading to the latest version, please:

  1. Check the "Global Settings" → We recommend to set the Rendering Mode to “Automatic”

  2. Install the WebView2 component, which is supported since v4.2.0
